The Danish Artist sweepy Releases First Single “Undo (Ctrl+Z)” From Upcoming EP shortcuts
Danish artist sweepy is back with his new single “Undo (Ctrl+Z)”, the first release from his upcoming EP shortcuts.
Since beginning his music journey in 2019, sweepy’s sound has evolved from a laid-back style into something faster, more energetic, and more pop-driven. “Undo (Ctrl+Z)” continues this shift, introducing a house-influenced production built on high-tempo beats and sharp, insistent lyrics.
The single is released in collaboration with FLATLIST.
“Undo (Ctrl+Z) was made together with Marcus Gordon, who has been a key part of the creative process,” sweepy explains. “He always sparks ideas when he starts building a beat — it really pushes me forward. ‘Undo is not an option’ was a note I had written down, and it suddenly became the starting point for the song.”
The single centers on the feeling of reaching a point of no return, a theme reflected in both the tone and the lyricism. While not autobiographical, the track aims to convey intensity, urgency, and movement — core elements of sweepy’s developing sound.
Sweepy first emerged on SoundCloud, experimenting with lo-fi rap and a variety of genres. Today, his music draws from rhythm, mood, and atmospheric soundscapes, blending house-inspired elements with experimental pop while staying true to his own instincts rather than chasing specific listener reactions.
“Undo (Ctrl+Z)” serves as the first glimpse into the upcoming EP shortcuts, continuing sweepy’s push toward high-tempo electronic textures and boundary-pushing pop.
